FIND THE LIGHT

Last night was a dream come true. I performed, along with an amazing cast and crew, in an immersive theatre experience called Find The Light put on by Seth Kirschner and Katy Wright-Mead in the Hollywood Hills. My first steps back into theatre since high school... like 14 years ago guys... wow. Too long. I'm ready for more...

This experience left me weeping with a heart full of hope... The conversations that were started about mental health and what it looks like, were so very real in every piece. I have personally been to these dark places that these actors were showcasing for us, and the fact that these amazing humans put themselves in these shoes so believably leaves me believing that yes, we are all connected... Life is so limitless when we go at it together. No one has to be alone. We do not have to deal with our issues, our thoughts, our pain, or hurt ALONE. You are not ALONE.

The time is now and the vibe is ripe for open discussion about mental health. I welcome you all to join in, in what ever capacity you feel right... Follow where your heart calls you, you never know what beautiful pastures lie ahead. I took this very small step in opening up to a group of complete strangers who had no idea who I was or what my talent would be and gave me a stage (well, a front door!) to express my own neurosis through the character of "Jessica" in the piece "Let Me Go" written by Ryan Gielen.

I'm so very emotional at the knowledge that there are so many people out there dealing with this stuff alone. I want to find you and be with you. And this is my way of reaching out to you. I am here. I am here for you. Please do not hesitate to reach out when you need to. together we can find the light.

xoxo~ Liv
